Everyone has his own unique story of how God led him into this combination of ministry and business. My story began in Mombasa, Kenya with my wife Marti. In the big picture of things, we evangelized and helped build up the body of believers through the products we carried in our local Christian store.
Several years later when we opened a store in this country, we looked for marketing materials to drive business into our store. The only catalog available cost twenty-seven cents, and we had to address and mail it ourselves. That was in 1988. Today, the Munce Group catalogs cost only pennies and have driven down the price of all the catalogs in the industry.
Despite the fact that there are about 800 fewer Christian bookstores in the industry today than there was four years ago, the Munce Group as an organization still continues to grow. We believe this is because of our reputation for achieving the highest results from our marketing materials at the best possible price. Prospective member retailers enquire of other retailers, and they are basing their decision to join us on solid business and ministry results.
Getting Christian materials into the hands of people is part of the spiritual battle that we face every day. Thank God that He has chosen you to take His message to the world through Christian products. Keep the big picture in mind.
